On September 10, 2025, the International Engineering and Technology University (METU) held its traditional Welcome Party. The main goal of the event was to warmly greet first-year students and introduce them to the vibrant student life of METU.

At the beginning of the evening, university administration and representatives of student organizations delivered welcoming speeches, wishing students success, inspiration, and achievements in the new academic year. The event program included fun games, music and dance performances, as well as interactive competitions.

During the Welcome Party, various student clubs and associations presented their activities and invited newcomers to join their teams. This gave first-year students the opportunity to explore university life and find areas that match their interests. The evening concluded with a group photo session in the decorated photo zone and lively dancing under the open sky. The warm atmosphere, smiles, and friendly spirit made this event truly memorable for everyone.
