At the International Engineering and Technological University, a series of lectures has begun by Professor Elhadj Benkhelifa, Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Director of Laboratories in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at Staffordshire University (United Kingdom).
Course topic: “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Modern Digital Systems.”
Professor Benkhelifa is a recognized international expert in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, machine learning, and digital innovation. His H-index is 33, and he is the author of numerous scientific articles published in leading international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
His research interests cover a wide range of topics — from intelligent data protection systems to sustainable digital ecosystems and the ethics of AI application.
As part of his visit, Professor Benkhelifa is conducting a series of lectures and practical workshops attended by not only undergraduate students but also master’s and doctoral students of the Software Engineering Department.
Participants gain a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends in artificial intelligence, methods of preventing cyberattacks, principles of information system protection, and the application of intelligent technologies across various fields.
Particular interest was drawn to discussions on the implementation of AI in smart city systems, industrial process automation, and ensuring the digital resilience of infrastructure.
