The Department of Software Engineering at METU hosted a distinguished guest lecture by Prof. Elhadj Benkhelifa, Professor of Computer Science and Digital Innovation and Director of the Laboratories in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at Staffordshire University, UK.

Prof. Benkhelifa is an internationally recognized expert with an H-index of 33, specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and modern digital systems. He holds several prestigious professional titles, including FHEA, SMIEEE, MACM, and PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Lecture topic: “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Modern Digital Systems”.

The lecture was attended by undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, as well as academic staff. Prof. Benkhelifa shared insights into the latest global trends, research developments, and innovative approaches to applying AI technologies to strengthen cybersecurity in modern digital infrastructures.
