On October 20, 2025, a Poetry Evening dedicated to the great Kazakh poet, thinker, and enlightener Abai Kunanbayev was held at the MITU Student House.

The event took place in a warm and creative atmosphere. Students recited Abai’s timeless poems and performed his famous songs — “Zhelsiz tünde zharyq ai” and “Közimnіn qarasy”, which reflect deep meaning and wisdom.

The purpose of the evening was to introduce students to Abai’s spiritual legacy, to foster love for native culture, and to promote respect for the Kazakh language.

The event was organized by Asiya Doskaranova, Senior Advisor of the Department of Economics and Business.
Zhuldyz Dildebayeva, Head of the Department of Economics and Business, and Dinara Nietkaliyeva, Lecturer of the Department, took part in the event.

The poetry evening concluded with songs and friendly conversations between students and teachers.
Abai’s legacy continues to inspire generations with wisdom, kindness, and love for the Motherland.
