On October 29, 2025, the Department of Biochemical Engineering held a meeting with the participation of the university’s vice-rectors.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations Assel Assylbekovna Abdildayeva and Vice-Rector for Science, Innovation Policy, and Marketing Oksana Leonidovna Karuna.

The main topic of discussion was “SCALING AI: THE STRATEGIC VECTOR OF MITU’S SCIENTIFIC AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION.”

During the meeting, participants discussed the prospects for integrating artificial intelligence technologies into educational and research processes, the digitalization of scientific activities, and the expansion of international cooperation in the field of innovation.

The faculty members of the department took an active part in discussing current development areas and offered proposals for implementing digital tools and AI technologies in the educational process.

The vice-rectors emphasized the importance of the department’s active involvement in implementing the university’s digital transformation strategy and noted that the integration of AI opens new horizons for enhancing scientific potential and training modern specialists.

The meeting was held in a constructive and productive atmosphere, with participants exchanging ideas and suggestions for the department’s further development within the strategic directions of MITU.
