The International Forum of Strategic Partners “Kazakhstan – the Territory of Academic Knowledge” was held in Astana with the aim of strengthening international cooperation in the field of higher education.

During the forum, key issues related to digitalization of education, academic mobility, transnational education, innovation, and technology transfer were discussed. The program of the event included panel and plenary sessions, as well as roundtable discussions, where representatives of leading universities and research centers exchanged experiences on the development of higher education systems.

On behalf of the International Engineering and Technological University (METU), the forum was attended by Rector Darkhan Akpanbetov and the heads of the university’s structural divisions.

Participation of METU in this forum marked another important step towards expanding international partnerships, strengthening academic ties, and integrating the university into the global educational space.
