On October 24, the International Engineering and Technological University held a ceremonial event dedicated to Republic Day.

During the celebration, Rector of METU, Darkhan Berikovich Akpanbetov, congratulated faculty members, staff, and students on this significant occasion, emphasizing the importance of independence and national unity, as well as the need to foster patriotism and civic responsibility among the younger generation.

For their significant contribution to the development of the university, high professionalism, and active work with youth, Aliaskar M.S., a lecturer of the Software Engineering Department, was awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the Youth Policy Department, and L.N. Mynbayeva received a Letter of Appreciation from the youth organization “Zhasar Rukhy.”

These awards represent well-deserved recognition of the lecturers’ active involvement in academic, educational, and community life, as well as their contribution to promoting patriotic values and fostering an intellectual youth environment at METU.
