At the International Engineering and Technology University (METU), lectures and seminars are being held by Professor Mehmet Ali Özler from Muğla University (Turkey). A renowned scientist in the fields of chemistry and biochemistry, Professor Özler shares with students and graduate students modern approaches in organic chemistry, biocatalysts, and sustainable synthesis technologies.

Special attention is given to the implementation of innovative chemical processes in ecotechnologies and the food industry, as well as to issues of scientific research and international collaboration. Students actively participate in discussions and note the high practical value of the lectures.

The initiative to invite the professor was carried out by METU’s Department of International Cooperation and is aimed at developing academic connections and enhancing the quality of education.
