From October 28 to November 7, 2025, the lecturers of the Department of Software Engineering — L.K. Demeubayeva, L.N. Mynbayeva, A.M. Zhunusova, A.M. Tursynkhan, and M.S. Aliasqar — conducted a training course entitled “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence” for lecturers of other departments.

The course was held online (via the Zoom platform). Its main goal was to enhance the digital competence of university teachers and to provide practical knowledge on how to apply artificial intelligence technologies in educational and research activities.

During the course, participants not only mastered the theoretical foundations of artificial intelligence but also explored its practical applications.

The integration of AI into the educational process helps to:

• simplify the methodological work of teachers;

• create individualized learning trajectories for students;

• improve the quality of education and promote innovative teaching methods.

As a result of the course, participants identified specific ways to apply AI technologies within their disciplines and demonstrated readiness to effectively use new educational tools.

Therefore, it is recommended to organize such AI-focused courses on a regular basis and make them an integral part of teachers’ professional development.
