On November 17, 2025, the International Engineering and Technology University (METU) held a ceremonial Student Induction event for first-year students. The ceremony brought together all newcomers and marked an important beginning to their academic journey.

The Department of Economics and Business also took part in the event, supporting first-year students enrolled in its relevant degree programs. Faculty members congratulated the newly admitted students, wishing them success in their studies and encouraging them to unlock their full potential.
