The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) continues to strengthen its global academic cooperation, providing students with new opportunities for professional growth in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence. From November 4 to 10, 2025, METU students and master’s degree candidates participated in the academic exchange program “Discovering Jiangsu,” organized by Jiangsu University of Technology (People’s Republic of China).

Representing METU were two 3rd-year Software Engineering students — Turlybek Mukhammedali Ainabekuly and Sharipbek Yerasyl Doszhanuly.

The students emphasized that the program was an invaluable experience. They visited leading factories, research laboratories, production centers, and technology parks across Jiangsu Province, gaining firsthand exposure to modern technologies and industrial innovations.

Upon their return, they gladly shared their impressions:

— “We came back full of new ideas, inspiration, and emotions. Every factory and every laboratory gave us unique insights. We saw real applications of cutting-edge technologies in IT, robotics, and industrial automation,” they said.

The program significantly broadened the students’ professional horizons and enriched their international academic experience. METU remains committed to developing similar opportunities for its students in the future.
