A citywide cleanup was held at the First President’s Park in Almaty as part of the environmental campaign “Taza Qala.” Students of the International Engineering and Technology University METU actively joined the event, demonstrating their environmental awareness and sense of responsibility toward the city.

The students helped clean pedestrian areas, maintain green spaces, and contribute to the improvement of one of Almaty’s most renowned recreational parks. For many participants, the cleanup became an opportunity not only to support the preservation of the urban environment but also to experience the value of teamwork and shared community effort.

METU continues to support environmental initiatives and encourages youth participation in projects that promote social responsibility and sustainable living.
