The
Department of Economics and Business of METU, in cooperation with the ACCA
International Educational Programs Center, organized a master class by IFC
expert Bunod Ramatov and a meeting with ACCA representative Assel Shkubarova.
Students
of the “Finance” and “Accounting and Audit” educational programs took part in
the event. Bunod Ramatov, an IFC expert in financial management, ACCA-qualified
specialist with over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, addressed
the audience. During his career, he has worked for international companies such
as Deloitte, BASF Central Asia, and Philip Morris Kazakhstan, as well as held
positions as a Chief Financial Officer and IFC consultant. The speaker shared
his practical experience and highlighted the importance of the ACCA
qualification for building a successful international career.
Assel
Shkubarova, Manager for Educational Relations Development at ACCA, also
delivered a speech. She emphasized the importance of cooperation between ACCA
and METU and underlined the role of international professional qualifications
in training competitive specialists.
The event
attracted significant interest among students and became an important
contribution to the development of METU’s international educational
opportunities.
