METU: A New Laboratory Opened at the Department of Software Engineering

At the International Engineering and Technological University (METU), a ceremonial opening of a new innovative laboratory of the Software Engineering Department was held as part of the Hiring & Innovation Forum METU.

The main purpose of the new laboratory is to enhance students’ practical skills and provide opportunities for developing startup projects, innovative solutions, and capstone projects in line with modern IT industry requirements. The laboratory will serve as a creative environment that integrates academic knowledge with practical innovation.

The opening ceremony was attended by the university administration, faculty members, forum participants, and representatives of partner IT companies. During the event, guests were introduced to the laboratory’s technical capabilities, equipment, and new learning format.
