The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) and the Jiangsu Polytechnic Institute (Lixiang, PRC) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening academic, scientific, and innovative collaboration between the two institutions.
The agreement focuses on enhancing international partnership, developing joint educational programs, promoting academic mobility, student and faculty exchanges, and advancing collaborative research initiatives in engineering, high technologies, and innovation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the prospects for joint programs, improving the quality of engineering education, launching international research projects, and expanding academic cooperation. Special attention was given to exchanging best practices in innovation, digital technologies, and modern engineering training.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important milestone in the development of Kazakhstan–China cooperation in higher education.
