On the eve of Independence Day in Mitu "December. A touching and informative evening of literary and educational meetings" Hearts in pursuit of freedom " was held. The purpose of the event is to deeply explain the historical significance of the December 1986 events to young people, to glorify the heroism of citizens who fought for freedom, to convey the true image of that period to today`s generation.The honorary guest of the evening is a veteran of the December events, a member of the Society of authors of Kazakhstan, composer and teacher Kisymbetova Sholpan Bakhytzhanovna. In his memoirs, he touchingly conveyed the joy and sadness of those critical moments, the flame and energy, the patriotic spirit of young people.During the event, the participants heard new facts about the special role of the December events on the way to independence of the country, the courage and heroism of the young people who took part in them, got acquainted with historical information. The meeting was an instructive event that expanded the spiritual horizons of young people and deepened their attitude to the country`s ideals.
