On December 4, 2025, the International Engineering and Technology University hosted the Hiring & Innovation Forum METU — a forum of employers and an exhibition of students’ engineering and AI innovations.

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Dr. D.B. Akpanbetov, who congratulated the participants and emphasized the importance of developing students’ innovative potential. After the plenary session, an exhibition of student projects took place.

The Department of Smart Technologies in Engineering presented the scientific project Icardy, introduced by lecturers Ayzhanova A.E. and Nurgaliyeva A.A. In addition, students of the department showcased their projects: “Smart Machine,” “Spider,” and “Barrier.”

Employers showed great interest in the presented works and asked questions regarding the practical applications of the projects. The forum concluded with a discussion platform and networking session with employers, where participants discussed collaboration opportunities, graduate competencies, and the implementation of innovative technologies in engineering and AI fields.
