As part of the completion of the course “Cloud Computing and Virtualization,” METU students visited the “Academset” data center, where they had the opportunity to observe the practical application of the technologies studied during the course.

During the экскурсия, specialists introduced students to the core principles of data center operations, server infrastructure, virtualization systems, and real-world examples of cloud service deployment.

During the practical session, students:

explored the structure and operation of server equipment;

became familiar with network infrastructure architecture;

studied virtual machine management techniques;

examined data storage and processing technologies.

The visit to the data center helped students reinforce their theoretical knowledge and contributed to the development of professional skills essential for careers in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
