The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) acted as one of the organizers of the Third Traditional International Scientific and Practical Conference “Development of Science: Challenges, Solutions, and Future Prospects,” which was held on December 22–23, 2025, at the University of Tashkent for Applied Sciences (Republic of Uzbekistan).

The conference brought together representatives of the scientific and educational community from various countries. It focused on current issues in the development of science, innovation, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as the modernization of education and interdisciplinary interaction.

As part of the plenary session, a welcoming address on behalf of the International Engineering and Technological University was delivered by Moldir Kuatova, Director of the Department of Scientific and Innovative Activities at METU and Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Engineering of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In her speech, she emphasized the importance of international scientific cooperation. She highlighted the role of science not only as a source of new knowledge but also as a foundation for practical application, technology transfer, and the training of future competitive specialists. Special attention was given to supporting young researchers and developing joint scientific and educational initiatives.

METU’s participation in organizing this conference confirms the university’s active position in strengthening international academic partnerships, expanding scientific cooperation, and promoting the innovation agenda at the global level.
