On January 27, 2026, METU hosted a large-scale event — “Ideas in Action: METU × KIT”, bringing together students, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

As part of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening business cooperation was signed between METU and the KIT International Entrepreneurs Association. This agreement opens new opportunities for the development of joint projects in education, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

One of the key highlights of the program was a special address by Dauren Bimov, founder of KIT. He delivered an inspiring lecture titled “Synergy of Creators”, sharing his experience in modern management, innovative thinking, and the future of entrepreneurship.

Dauren Bimov is an Ironman athlete, philanthropist, author of books and innovative management systems, Co-Chairman of the Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan Business Council and the Regional Council of the Astana Chamber of Entrepreneurs, as well as a recipient of the state medal “For Distinguished Labor”. He is the founder of the Status Management Group logistics company group, the ASR ecosystem, the KIT International Entrepreneurs Association, and the SAF Youth Development Center.

Additionally, the event featured:

a student project exhibition;

professional feedback sessions;

experience-sharing discussions;

a coffee break and networking session;

a guided tour of METU laboratories.

This meeting was not just a formal event, but the beginning of new opportunities for commercializing student ideas, professional growth, and launching entrepreneurial careers.
