On January 27, 2026, the International Engineering and Technological
University (METU) hosted a major event titled "From Idea to Action: METU × KIT," showcasing a powerful
synergy between education and business. The event focused on bridging the gap
between student projects and professional expertise.
During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between METU and the "KIT" International Entrepreneurs Association. This partnership provides students with an invaluable opportunity to work with world-class business mentors.
Rector Darkhan Berikuly
emphasized in his speech:
"This partnership is more than just a new opportunity; it is a springboard for our students to test their theoretical knowledge in a real market environment. Our goal is not only to train professionals but to develop young leaders who can implement their ideas on a global scale."
Dauren Bimov, the founder of the
"KIT" association, delivered an inspiring lecture titled
"Harmony of Creators." He shared insights
on:
The importance of collaboration in business;
Essential modern skills for the next generation of entrepreneurs;
Strategies for turning an idea into a tangible result.
Students presented their startup projects and received direct feedback from
industry experts. This served as a crucial step toward commercializing their
ideas and entering the market. The event also included a tour of METU’s
advanced laboratories and a networking session, where entrepreneurs highly
praised the university`s scientific potential and discussed future joint
projects.
