On January 19, 2026, the International Engineering and Technological University (METU) and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) signed an agreement on international cooperation.

The agreement aims to develop academic, scientific, and innovative collaboration between the universities, strengthen international relations, and expand opportunities for students, graduate students, and faculty members.

Within the framework of the agreement, the parties plan to conduct joint fundamental and applied research, implement joint educational programs, develop academic mobility for students and faculty, and provide training and professional development of specialists.

Both parties expressed confidence that the signed agreement will serve as a foundation for long-term partnership, expansion of scientific contacts, and implementation of joint projects of mutual interest.
