On February 4, the International Engineering and
Technological University METU hosted the III Literary Festival “Rhymes of the
World of Olzhas Suleimenov,” held with the participation of international
guests and supported by UNESCO.
The festival brought together representatives of
academia, cultural figures, educators, school students and young researchers.
Discussions focused on cultural heritage, the role of literature in shaping
young people’s worldview, and the contribution of Olzhas Suleimenov to
international humanitarian dialogue.
The program featured literary readings, creative
performances and panel discussions. Participants demonstrated strong analytical
skills and a deep interest in the humanities.
Following the festival, METU conducted career guidance
activities for the school students who took part in the event. University
representatives presented academic programs, outlined opportunities for study
and research, and introduced international collaboration initiatives. Students
received information about academic pathways and future professional prospects.
Hosting the III Literary Festival at METU highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting cultural initiatives and fostering intellectual development, integrating education, science and гуманитарное heritage.
