On February 18, 2026, an open meeting of the Academic Committee for the educational programs “Technological Machines and Equipment” was held at the International Engineering and Technology University (METU).
The meeting covered the following degree programs:
6B07103 – “Technological Machines and Equipment” (Bachelor’s degree);
7M07101 – “Technological Machines and Equipment” (Master’s degree).
The event brought together employers, representatives of research institutions, faculty members, and students.
During the meeting, participants discussed the modernization and improvement of curricula, updating course content, and introducing practice-oriented subjects. Particular attention was given to:
the introduction of the course “Fundamentals of Interchangeability”;
inclusion of the courses “Processes and Apparatus of Food Production” and “Loading and Unloading Transport Equipment”;
integration of research activities into the Master’s level educational process.
The decisions made aim to improve the quality of specialist training and enhance graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market.
