On February 17, 2026, students of the educational program «6В07203 - Technologies and engineering of food production» visited the company Keremet Su SKE as part of the course «Techno-chemical Control, Quality Assessment, and Safety of Crop Products». The excursion was conducted by lecturer A. Tautayeva together with the Head of the Career Center, Sh.Zh. Zhanilkhanova.

Keremet Su SKE is engaged in the production, delivery, and sale of Samal drinking water. The water is sourced from artesian well No. 2940, located in the Turksib district of Almaty, with a depth of over 300 meters. Students observed the full water production cycle from extraction to the bottling line, explored the five-stage purification process (mechanical filtration, softening, filtration, molecular purification, UV disinfection), and learned about the ozonation process, which gives the water its fresh taste.

Lecturer A. Tautayeva provided detailed explanations of the daily laboratory quality control procedures, methods for analyzing chemical and organoleptic parameters, and the system for ensuring product safety.

Students had the opportunity to see modern production equipment, ask questions to company specialists, and reinforce their practical skills in techno-chemical control and product quality assessment.
