The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) has successfully concluded the visit of visiting professor Marcos Bamonte from Austral University (Argentina), during which a series of lectures was delivered for students of the “Software Engineering” and “Smart Technologies in Engineering” departments.
During his stay, Professor Bamonte conducted practice-oriented sessions covering advanced topics such as Biometrics, Robotics, Mechatronics, Emotion Recognition, and Automatic Control Systems. The lectures combined theoretical insights with real-world case discussions and hands-on project work.
METU students demonstrated strong academic preparation, high motivation, and active engagement throughout the sessions. Professor Bamonte warmly praised the students, highlighting their technical background and confident use of English in professional communication.
Both universities emphasized the importance of further strengthening academic cooperation. The completed lecture series became an important milestone in developing international collaboration between METU and Austral University and laid a solid foundation for future joint educational and research initiatives.
