In February 2026, an open meeting of the Academic Committee on the educational program «6В06201 – Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications» was held at the International Technological University. The meeting focused on updating the curriculum, increasing the number of practical classes, and enhancing students’ professional training.

The Head of the Department, M. Q. Baktybaev, presented the program description, academic staff, leading instructors, future professions, and the skills students acquire. Students, professors, lecturers, and industry representatives participated in the discussion. Proposals were made to introduce new disciplines and practice-oriented courses related to professional training.

Associate professors and industry representatives emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Students shared their suggestions for including industrial practice and new courses in the curriculum.

According to the participants, updating the curriculum plays a key role in preparing students for professional activities, completing industrial practice, and meeting industry requirements. Changes to the curriculum will be implemented gradually, with all updates carried out through close collaboration between the university, industry, and students.
