This year marks the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great Kazakh poet, zhyrau, and master of epic poetry, Zhambyl Zhabayev. On this occasion, a special book exhibition was organized at the METU Scientific Library.

The exhibition featured books dedicated to the life and works of Zhambyl Zhabayev, as well as various materials presenting his literary heritage. In addition, newspaper articles about Zhambyl Zhabayev were displayed for readers.

Through these materials, visitors had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the poet’s public recognition and historical significance across different periods.
