Connecting Student Projects with Professional Experience
On January 27, 2026, a
significant event took place at the Moscow Engineering and Technology
University (METU) — “Ideas in Action: METU × KIT”, bringing together students
and the professional entrepreneurial community.
The event began with a
welcoming speech by the Rector of METU, Darhan Berikovich Apanbetov, who
emphasized the importance of student projects as a platform for developing
creative and professional potential. Warm greetings were also delivered by Dauren
Oralysnovich Bimov, founder of the “KIT” community, who shared the motivation
and goals of the collaboration with METU.
A highlight of the
program was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between METU and the
International Entrepreneurial Community “KIT.”
During the event, the
founder of “KIT” delivered an inspiring lecture titled “Creators’ Synergy”,
sharing practical experience, opportunities for professional interaction, and
perspectives for developing student projects. Students actively asked questions
and engaged in discussions, gaining valuable advice and insights.
After the official
part, participants networked during a coffee break, exchanged contacts, and
discussed ideas and potential collaborative projects with KIT residents —
companies and organizations from the entrepreneurial community.
The event concluded
with a student project exhibition and team presentations, where students
showcased their initiatives and received professional evaluation and feedback
from experts. This provided an excellent opportunity for students to see the
practical value of their projects and gain inspiration for further development.
“Ideas in Action: METU
× KIT” successfully fulfilled its goal of connecting student ideas with
professional experience, opening new opportunities for collaboration and career
growth.
