An open discussion of the
educational program «IT-Marketing» was held at the International Engineering
and Technology University. The event was attended by teachers, employers,
academic experts, and students.
The main goal of the meeting
was to improve the program’s content in accordance with current labor market
requirements, digital business transformation, and professional standards.
During the discussion, updates to courses, enhancement of practical training,
introduction of modern digital marketing tools, and expansion of cooperation
with industry representatives were considered.
Special attention was paid to
developing students’ key competencies in digital marketing, data analysis, IT
project management, online promotion, and creating marketing strategies in a
digital environment.
Eskendir Alihan, a
representative of Baker Tilly Qazaqstan Audit LLP in the field of marketing, gave a speech. He emphasized the importance of integrating modern digital
tools, SMM practices, SEO/SEM analytics, and marketing automation into the
educational process, as well as the need to expand collaboration with
specialized companies.
Anarkhan Aizhan, a marketer at
Knauf Gypsum Kapchagay LLP, emphasized the importance of
integrating practice-oriented case studies, working on real projects, and
developing analytical thinking skills.
Students actively participated
in the discussion and suggested expanding the list of elective courses and
strengthening the program’s practical orientation. Employers stressed the need
to train specialists capable of working effectively in the digital economy and
quickly adapting to market changes.
Such discussions contribute to
the continuous updating of educational programs, improving the quality of
graduate training, and strengthening cooperation between the university and the
business community.
