Meeting with METU students as part of the Law and Order initiative
The Department of Youth Policy and the Committee on Youth Affairs organized a meeting with students as part of the “Law and Order” initiative.
The event was held in an open dialogue format, where participants discussed important aspects of legal culture, personal responsibility, and the role of youth in building a safe and fair society. Students actively asked questions, shared their opinions, and suggested ideas for improving legal awareness among their peers.
As part of the meeting, social films “Not a Bookmark” and “Hooligan Girl” were screened. These films addressed relevant social issues and sparked meaningful discussion among the participants.
Overall, the meeting contributed to increasing students’ legal awareness, fostering a sense of responsibility for their actions, and deepening their understanding of the importance of following the law and maintaining public order.
