Advisors of the Department of Economics and Business held advisory hours
with their academic groups on the topic of the prevention of offenses and
bullying among youth. First- and second-year students took part in the
event.
As part of the meeting, students watched two educational social films
dedicated to current issues affecting young people today.
The first film focused on preventing youth involvement in illegal
activities. It clearly demonstrated how teenagers and students are often
tempted by the promise of “easy money” and drawn into drug distribution. The
storyline showed the serious consequences such choices can lead to, including
ruined lives, loss of future opportunities, and criminal liability.
The second film addressed the issue of bullying among teenagers and young
people. It highlighted the consequences of aggression, psychological pressure,
and cruel behavior toward one another. The film showed that thoughtless
actions, indifference, and harassment can result not only in moral and
psychological trauma but also in serious legal consequences.
After the screening, a discussion was held with the students, during which
they shared their opinions, expressed their views on the issues raised, and
drew important conclusions about personal responsibility, making the right life
choices, obeying the law, and treating others with respect.
For senior students, these video materials were sent to academic WhatsApp
group chats for ознакомления and further reflection on the topics discussed.
The event became an important part of the department’s educational and
upbringing work aimed at developing students’ legal awareness, social
responsibility, and a culture of safe behavior.
