The International of Engineering and Technology University (METU) held an Inclusivity Committee meeting focused on the university`s readiness for the upcoming academic season.
The main outcome: By the start of the academic year, 100% of METU academic buildings have been equipped with ramps and the necessary infrastructure. As reported by the Vice-Rector for Administrative Affairs, Kh.Kuzanov, the university`s material and technical facilities fully comply with barrier-free environment standards, ensuring free access to buildings for individuals with special needs.
In addition to technical readiness, the Committee approved plans for: individualization of study schedules; strengthening psychological and pedagogical support for the successful socialization of every student.
