The International Engineering and Technological  University (METU) extensively presented Kazakhstan`s educational potential at one of Central Asia`s largest venues — the World Edu 2026 international exhibition. On April 10–11, Samarkand became a center of attraction for future students and global education leaders. METU emerged as one of the key participants, showcasing breakthrough achievements in innovative learning and advanced technologies.

          METU`s exposition became one of the leading platforms of the exhibition, drawing unprecedented interest from the target audience. The university`s booths were designed as comprehensive information hubs where prospective students could obtain exhaustive information about educational programs, university activities, and review the current registry of international partner universities. Over the two-day event, the university delegation provided consultations to thousands of young people from Uzbekistan and neighboring countries. The audience`s attention was particularly focused on academic mobility programs: future specialists closely studied the mechanisms for studying and professional internships at leading global scientific and educational centers partnering with METU. University representatives provided detailed explanations on grant support, academic advantages, and conditions for professional competency development within the university`s modern educational environment.

          In addition to active engagement with applicants, World Edu 2026 served as a venue for productive inter-academic dialogue. During the exhibition, the METU delegation established direct contacts with representatives of leading participating foreign universities. The agreements reached laid the foundation for new joint educational projects, knowledge exchange, and the expansion of the university`s global partnership network.

         The academic community`s special attention was drawn to the forum`s breakout session, where Ms. Karlygash Shokhayeva, Director of the Department of International Cooperation at METU, delivered a keynote presentation. In her speech, Ms. Shokhayeva provided a large-scale presentation of the university, emphasizing the expansion of partnership ties with top-tier foreign universities and the training of a new generation of personnel capable of meeting global technological challenges.
