In Kazakhstan, the birthday of the academician and prominent scholar Kanysh Satbayev — April 12 — has been officially designated as the Day of Scientific Workers. In this regard, a thematic exhibition dedicated to the life and scientific legacy of Kanysh Satbayev was organized at the METU Scientific Library.

As part of the exhibition, the scientist’s research works, materials highlighting his significant contribution to the field of geology, as well as books and periodicals related to his life and professional activity were presented. Visitors had the opportunity to explore in depth the works of a figure who made a substantial contribution to the development of Kazakh science.

The purpose of the exhibition is to promote the importance of science among young people, to honor individuals who have contributed to the development of national science, and to increase interest in scientific heritage.
