On April 16-17, as part of the Decade of Science, an international conference was held in the section «Biotechnology and ESG: Science, Innovation and sustainable development». The event was actively attended by students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Biochemical Engineering, etc.

The conference has become an effective platform for the exchange of scientific ideas and experiences between young researchers. During the work of the section, topical issues of the development of biotechnologies, the introduction of innovative approaches to science and production, as well as the role of ESG principles in ensuring sustainable development were considered. The participants presented informative reports, demonstrated a high level of training and scientific potential, actively participated in discussions and answered questions from the expert jury.

Following the results of the conference, Aigerim Seisenova, a 3rd-year doctoral student, was awarded a diploma of the first degree. The diploma of the II degree was awarded to the 1st-year master`s student Sarzhanova Saida and the 4th-year student Abdybayeva Ayazhan. The diploma of the III degree was awarded to 2nd-year doctoral student Dukenbai Bagdat, 4th-year student Dilkhumar Asmakhunova and Orynbasarova Akhty.

The event was held in an atmosphere of scientific cooperation and professional growth, contributing to the development of students` research activities and strengthening the academic community of the department.
