A meeting dedicated to National Book Day and Librarian’s Day was held at the International Engineering and Technology University. The guest of the event was journalist, podcaster, and author of the book “Atıñ şıqpasa, podcast jasa” – Ainel Amirkhan. The event was organized and conducted with the participation of the faculty members of the Department of Social and humanitarian disciplines and world languages– Zh.A. Tukebayeva and K.O. Aitkulova, as well as the Director of the Library – Z.S. Makhambetova.

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:

-      how to develop a reading habit

-      which books truly influence thinking and worldview

-      how to find a genre that inspires you personally

-      how to navigate the flow of information and choose quality content

-      how to effectively manage time while balancing studies, work, and self-development

The event was held in a warm and open atmosphere. Students actively asked questions, shared their opinions, and received valuable recommendations from the speaker. Such meetings contribute to the development of a reading culture and motivate young people toward personal growth and a conscious selection of information.
