April 23 — National Book Day and Librarians’ Day — became more than just a symbolic date for METU; it turned into a day filled with meaning and inspiration. On this occasion, the university hosted a special meeting with journalist, podcaster, and co-author of the book “If You’re Not Famous, Start a Podcast” Әйнел Әмірхан.
During the event, participants discussed reading habits, the “behind-the-scenes” process of writing books, and the growing role of podcasting as a modern language of communication. The guest shared her professional journey and highlighted key moments of her creative path.
Attendees were not just passive listeners—they actively engaged, asked questions, and gained valuable insights and fresh ideas. The evening turned into a dynamic platform for meaningful dialogue, inspiring and motivating the youth.
This meeting became a unique intersection of books and modern content, opening new pathways for creativity and innovation.
METU University sincerely expresses its gratitude to Aynel Amirhan for the insightful discussion, valuable information, and the unique atmosphere.
