On April 20, 2026, students of the Department of Biochemical Engineering of the BZH-22-1r group Syzdykov Nurasyl and Ablizov Abdumuslim took part in the XVIII Republican Student subject Olympiad on the educational program "6B11201 – Life safety and environmental protection".

The Olympiad was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and brought together students from the country`s leading universities. The participants demonstrated a high level of theoretical training and practical skills in the field of life safety and environmental protection.

The scientific guidance of the students was provided by Sharbanu Akkaninovna Muzdybayeva, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, and Galiya Zhanmoldanovna Tursbekova, under whose leadership the participants received high-quality training and adequately represented the university at the national level.
