Participation of the Department of Technique and Technology of Food Production in the Science Decade 2026 Exhibition
From April 10 to 20, 2026, the International Engineering and Technological University (Almaty) hosted the Science Decade under the theme “Development of Science and Technology in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.”
On April 17, 2026, as part of the Science Decade, an exhibition of scientific achievements was held, dedicated to the official opening of the Center for Advanced Technologies of METU. The Department of Technique and Technology of Food Production actively participated in this event.
The exhibition featured scientific and innovative developments of the department created within the framework of educational and research activities. In particular, confectionery products, marshmallow, ice cream, as well as packaging solutions and elements of packaging equipment were presented.
The event was supported by the academic staff, doctoral students, master’s students, members of student research groups, and volunteers of the department. Participants contributed to the preparation of the exhibition, presentation of products, and interaction with visitors.
The exhibition served as an effective platform for demonstrating the scientific and innovative potential of the department, exchanging experience, and establishing professional connections. The presented developments attracted significant interest and highlighted the practical relevance of the research conducted.
