Participation in the International Scientific and Practical Conference within the Science Decade – 2026
On April 16–17, 2026, the International Engineering and Technological University (Almaty) hosted an international scientific and practical conference titled “Quality and Effectiveness of Science in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” as part of the Science Decade.
The conference brought together scientists, academic staff, and students from both international and domestic universities. A total of 24 scientific papers were submitted, resulting in 28 presentations: 16 presentations on April 16 and 12 presentations on April 17.
Participants included representatives of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the University of Belgrade (Serbia), South Ural State University, Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov, Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin, as well as leading universities of Kazakhstan.
Following the conference, 40 participation certificates were awarded.
Within the framework of the event, competitions “Best Young Researcher” (among bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral students) and a startup projects competition were also held. The results of these competitions are currently being finalized.
Students of the Department of Technique and Technology of Food Production actively participated in the conference and achieved prize-winning positions:
•⁠  ⁠1st place — Bek Nursaуле (METU);
•⁠  ⁠2nd place — Oyozbekova Aelina, Shekerbekova Akylai Zhanyshevna (KSTU named after I. Razzakov), Zheksenbay Akmaral Yerzatkyzy (METU);
•⁠  ⁠3rd place — Kuanysh Sayat (METU), Tursyngazy Aruzhan Nurlankyzy, Abdimanap Ulpan Daurenkyzy (METU), Ermakova Darya Sergeevna (Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University).
The conference served as an important platform for academic exchange, discussion of current scientific challenges, and strengthening international cooperation.
