Department of International Cooperation Held an Information Session on Academic Mobility

An information session for 1st–3rd year students dedicated to the Academic Mobility Program for the 2026–2027 academic year was held at the International Engineering and Technological University.

The event was organized by the Department of International Cooperation. The session opened with a welcoming speech by the Director of the Department, Karlygash Shokhayeva, who provided detailed information about study opportunities abroad, participation requirements, and the key benefits of the program.

During the presentation, students were introduced to the geography of partner universities, including institutions in the United Kingdom, China, Türkiye, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Special attention was given to the academic programs available for exchange, as well as the eligibility criteria, including GPA requirements, language proficiency, and the absence of academic задолженности.

An important part of the meeting was the presentation by students who had studied at Kastamonu University (Türkiye) during the autumn semester. They shared their personal experiences, discussed the educational system, living conditions, and their adaptation abroad.

The participants were also shown a video featuring students who are currently studying abroad under the academic mobility program. This provided a vivid insight into both academic life and student experience overseas.

The final stage of the event included a live online session with students currently studying abroad. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions in real time and receive practical advice.

The meeting concluded with closing remarks by Vice-Rector Assel Abdildaeva, who emphasized the importance of academic mobility as a key opportunity for student development. She highlighted that participation in international programs contributes to building competitive specialists, broadens horizons, and opens new professional perspectives.

The session was held in an interactive format and generated strong interest among students. Many participants expressed their intention to apply for the program.

Applications for the academic mobility program are open until June 10, 2026.
