On June 4, 2026, the International
Engineering and Technology University hosted a round table discussion entitled
“State Symbols: The Pride of the Nation”, dedicated to the Day of the State
Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by The
Department of Social and humanitarian disciplines and world languages.
Faculty members and students of the university participated in the discussion,
examining the historical significance, societal role, and educational value of
Kazakhstan’s state symbols as fundamental attributes of the country`s
independence and national identity. The event commenced with the performance of
the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants emphasized the
important role of the National Flag, the State Emblem, and the National Anthem
in strengthening national identity, preserving historical memory, and fostering
social cohesion based on shared values and aspirations. During the discussion,
particular attention was devoted to the promotion of civic responsibility,
patriotism, and respect for state symbols among young people. Participants
highlighted the importance of state symbols in cultivating civic consciousness,
national pride, and commitment to the principles and interests of the nation. The
speakers noted that the state symbols embody the sovereignty, independence, and
unity of Kazakhstan, while reflecting the country’s historical legacy and
future aspirations.
The round table contributed to
strengthening patriotic values among students, broadening their understanding
of the significance of state symbols, and encouraging active civic engagement.
