On June 4, 2026, the Kazakhstan Youth Kickboxing Championship was held, bringing together talented athletes from different regions of the country.

The International Engineering and Technology University METU served as the main sponsor of the championship. The university consistently supports educational, social, and sports initiatives aimed at youth development, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and fostering civic responsibility.

The competition showcased a high level of athletic performance, determination, and sportsmanship among the participants.

In his address, Honorary President of the Almaty Kickboxing Federation, Ruslan Zhumagulov, noted that kickboxing helps young athletes develop discipline, respect for opponents, strength of character, and a commitment to fair competition.
