METU informs
prospective applicants that registration has opened for the KAZTEST
certification examination designed to assess proficiency in the Kazakh
language.
The
electronic-format testing will take place on June 21, 2026, in Astana, Almaty,
Shymkent, Aktobe, Aktau, Atyrau, Zhezkazgan, Karaganda, Kokshetau, Kostanay,
Kyzylorda, Oskemen, Oral, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Semey, Taraz, Taldykorgan,
and Turkistan.
Applications
are accepted from June 12 to June 19, 2026, through app.testcenter.kz.
The certification test consists of four sections:
The testing fee is 7,121 KZT.
Please note
that for applicants to the METU doctoral programs, a KAZTEST certificate is a
mandatory document when submitting applications between July 3 and August 3,
2026. Certificates of any KAZTEST proficiency level are accepted as part of the
application package.
Since
testing in multiple cities is organized specifically before the doctoral
admission period, applicants are encouraged to complete the examination and
obtain their certificate in advance.
