Software Engineering Students Win Prize at International Robotics Championship

Second-year students of the Software Engineering Department at the International Engineering and Technological University, Arnur Ospanov and Askar Raimbek, successfully completed a semester of study in China under the academic mobility program.

During their studies, the students not only demonstrated excellent academic performance but also actively participated in international scientific and engineering activities. One of their most significant achievements was competing in the International Embodied Intelligence Innovation Contest (IEIIC), a prestigious international robotics competition focused on embodied intelligence and innovative robotic technologies.

Held in Astana, the competition brought together students and young engineers from leading universities in China and Central Asian countries. Participants were challenged to solve real-world robotics problems, including equipment commissioning, fault diagnosis, and the optimization of engineering solutions.

As members of an international team, Arnur Ospanov and Askar Raimbek proudly represented the university and achieved outstanding results. Their team was awarded Third Prize in the Central Asia Robotics Special Event of the IEIIC International Embodied Intelligence Innovation Contest.

This achievement reflects the high level of professional training provided by the Software Engineering Department and highlights the students’ technical competencies, innovation skills, and ability to compete successfully on the international stage.

We sincerely congratulate Arnur Ospanov and Askar Raimbek on this remarkable accomplishment and wish them continued success in their studies, research activities, and future engineering projects.
