On June 29, 2026, METU held a ceremony to present letters of appreciation to faculty members who made an active contribution to the university`s career guidance activities during the 2025–2026 academic year.

The awards were presented to faculty members who actively participated in meetings with school students and prospective applicants, educational exhibitions, Open Day events, and other career guidance initiatives organized by the university.

The METU administration expressed its sincere appreciation for the faculty members` dedication, initiative, and valuable contribution to promoting the university and attracting talented young people.

Such recognition highlights the important role of the academic staff in the university`s development and in strengthening its position within the higher education community.
