The International Engineering and Technological University (METU) continues to expand international education opportunities for its students. Within the framework of existing agreements with partner universities abroad, METU students can participate in academic mobility programs and spend one semester studying at Selçuk University (Türkiye), Baku State University (Azerbaijan), and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology — MUST (Mongolia).
The academic mobility program allows students to continue their studies abroad in fields corresponding to their educational programs at METU, take relevant courses at a partner university, gain international academic experience, and become familiar with a new educational and cultural environment.
METU students have access to study opportunities in information technology and telecommunications, engineering, biotechnology and food production, economics, finance, tourism, and other related fields.
Relevant educational programs include Software Engineering, Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation and Control, Biotechnology, Food Product Technology, Processing Technology, Agronomy, Fruit and Vegetable Production, Economics, Accounting and Audit, Finance, Tourism, as well as several other engineering and technological fields.
Students from several METU educational programs can also study at Baku State University, one of the leading universities in Azerbaijan.
The main areas include Software Engineering, Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Automation and Control, Economics, Accounting and Audit, Finance, Tourism, Biotechnology, as well as Life Safety and Environmental Protection.
Studying in Baku gives students the opportunity to gain new academic experience and develop professional competencies in an international environment.
The Mongolian University of Science and Technology also welcomes METU students within the framework of academic mobility.
The main compatible fields include Software Engineering and IT, Food Production Engineering and Technology, Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Economics, Business, and Management.
To participate in the program, students must have completed at least one semester at METU and successfully pass the official nomination procedure by the university.
