On September 11, 2026, a scientific and practical event entitled “Green Garden: A Modern Vector for the Integration of Science, Vocational Education, and Agricultural Production” was held in the village of Karakemer, Enbekshikazakh District, Almaty Region.

The event was attended by students of the ПиАП-25-1к and ПиАП-25-1р groups from the Department of Technique and technology of food production at METU University. The students were accompanied by their group advisors and representatives of the department’s faculty, Ainura Adilkhanqyzy and Akniet Ibraikhan.

The event was organized by the Kazakh Research Institute of Food Industry. The meeting served as an effective platform for exchanging knowledge and experience among representatives of science, vocational education, agribusiness, and farming enterprises.

During the scientific and practical event, the participants discussed modern technologies used in horticulture, practice-oriented professional training, the implementation of scientific developments in production, and the strengthening of cooperation among research organizations, educational institutions, and agricultural enterprises.

Participation in the event allowed the students to learn about current trends in agricultural production and advanced technologies used in horticulture. In addition, they had an opportunity to connect their theoretical knowledge with practical experience and broaden their professional understanding of their future careers.
