Ahead of Almaty City Day, METU students took part in a community clean-up aimed at maintaining cleanliness and improving the university grounds.

As part of the initiative, students cleaned the university premises, tidied up the surrounding areas, and paid special attention to maintaining a clean environment. The active students contributed to keeping the university grounds clean and well-maintained, demonstrating teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility.

The main goal of the clean-up was to promote a culture of cleanliness among students, encourage responsible attitudes toward the environment, and involve young people in improving the university grounds.

This initiative, held ahead of Almaty City Day, contributes to raising students’ environmental awareness, strengthening their sense of responsibility for their surroundings, and fostering a greater appreciation for their home city.
